The next-generation of turbocharged Subaru BOXER engines is coming to North America first with the new Forester XT! We'll get a taste of the 2.0L direct-injection turbo engine, known as the FA20 DIT. This engine will very likely be the same powerplant used in the upcoming redesigned WRX and WRX STI. Sadly, we will make do with the CVT-only option for the Forester XT until the manual becomes available when the new WRX comes out.
